I got a job! I'm making money, honey! I am a Accounts Receivable temp (read: Data Entry clerk, aka trained monkey) for a metal manufacturing plant My job is better than the jobs I worked at BYU but...I'd still rather be at pottery barn kids! Oh...AND it would be nice to someday use my $30,000 Master's degree. It will happen...tax season is right around the corner, and I will be hanging up my shingle!
Tuscaloosa is becoming more homey to us. I have found my favorite store! I thought there would be NO shopping, and I'd have to go to Birmingham to buy clothes. But Tuscaloosa has a hidden treasure:
Half my "professional" clothes come from this store! Speaking of being a "professional", I'm not going to the Harry Potter midnight showing tomorrow. ...I will be seeing it at 7:30 Friday evening like all the other grownups and young children. Being an adult is sad :) But how can I post the cash and type continuously for 10 hours straight on Friday with 2 hours of sleep? I remember the good old days when Mike and I stayed up til 6am outside with our friends to finish our Monopoly game. I think one time Mike and I started running up the Y at 2am. I was 18 and Mike was 19 :) Now it's like 10:45 and that's way past my bedtime :)
